Class: This is a beginner-intermediate class to Illustration. We will go over the process of creating a finished illustration from sketches to a final render. There will be a focus on getting the image right in the sketch phase and on storytelling and composition. Lecture will include video demos of Owen’s process for digital painting and using 3d software such as Daz3d.
Prerequisite: We recommend Figure Drawing, Intro to Digital Painting

Owen Freeman is a Visual Development and Freelance Artist based in Los Angeles. He graduated from Art Center College of Design, and have since lived and worked between London, Los Angeles and Seattle. He has worked in the editorial, advertising, film and comics industry.
Clients include: Marvel Studios , WB Animations, National Geographic, New York Times, Paramount Pictures, The Wall Street Journal, Nike, and Epic/Sony Records.
